Each year millions of dollars are taken from those that were tricked into parting with their money in hopes of either getting services and or money in return.
The Types of Scams to Watch For
The Following are some of the scams out there that you nee to look out for. One thing to remember is that most Honest Companies out there will not ask to remote connect to your computer or have you login to your Email or Bank.
Bank
Scams
Bank Scams are where someone poses as a member of your Bank and they claim you might have been Hacked and they have access to your Bank Account and Email.
If someone is really representing your bank they should have no need to have you login to your bank account or download any application so they can see your PC/Phone.
Paypal Scams
Paypal Scams are where someone posts as a member of Paypal and they alert you to what they believe is a suspicious purchase normally an IPhone. They will also try to have you download an application so they can access your computer.

Publishers Clearing House
Publishers Clearing House while its also a Real Event that happens as of late there are scammers that are using this angle to attack the public.
What happens is you get a call claiming you are a winner and when you call them they will say you have won money and a Car. BUT to get this you need to purchase a Validation Card to cover Taxes.
Popup Scams or Tech Scams
This is a common scam that happens. Usually triggered by someone looking for a website and they go to a link they think is the site in question and then a Popup appears on the screen.
In some cases this is also triggered by an Email sent to a person pretending to be from Microsoft or Apple pertaining to your computer.
Refund Scams
This can be under alot of categories. It could tie in Paypal and your Bank and Email Accounts ... it could also include Amazon or some form of online purchases.
They will try to gain access to your Computer and or Email or Phone to access and see how much money they could get from you.
