Paypal Scams

​Paypal Scams usually start with a phone call or possible email.  They claim they see some charges on your Paypal that they are questioning.  This usually involves connecting to your computer or phone and they want you to check your bank for suspicious activity from Paypal.

You will see a fake email from Paypal.  Claiming you are making a purchase for a product or service or even Bitcoin. "Login to your paypal first to see if you see such a transaction before calling"

​NEVER GIVE A PERSON ON THE PHONE A OTP OR ONE TIME PASSWORD.  THIS TACTIC IS USED TO STEAL YOUR ACCOUNT.  ONCE THEY HAVE THE EMAIL TO YOUR PAYPAL AND THE OTP THEY CAN CHANGE THE PASSWORD THEN HAVE ACCESS TO YOUR INFORMATION.
